We are seeking a talented and passionate Licensed Barber to join our dynamic team! Duties Provide expert barbering services including haircuts, shaves, beard grooming, and hair extensions using current techniques and tools such as straight razors. Consult with clients to understand their style preferences and recommend suitable hair treatments or products. Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene in accordance with state regulations and salon policies. Upsell retail products such as hair care, styling tools, and grooming essentials to enhance client results and increase sales. Assist with front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, checking in appointments, and handling payments with retail math accuracy. Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in hair coloring (color theory), fades, straight edging and other barbering services to promote skill development. Skills Proven experience in barbering with proficiency in haircutting, straight razor shaves, beard trimming, and hair styling. Knowledge of advanced techniques including hair extensions, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and hair threading. Strong understanding of sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Excellent communication skills to connect with diverse clients and provide personalized recommendations. Ability to upsell retail products effectively while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
