This is an excellent opportunity for a set-motivated professional looking to build a loyal clientele while making a difference in the lives of older adults. As an independent contractor, you will manage your own schedule and client base, delivering personalized beauty experiences to each resident.

Responsibilities:

Create a warm, friendly and respectful experience for residents Provide professional hair care services such as shampooing, haircuts, styling, perms, and color services. Consult with clients to understand their hair goals, recommend suitable treatments, and communicate aftercare instructions effectively. Maintain high standards of sanitation and sterilization in accordance with industry regulations. Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, checking in appointments, and ensuring a smooth flow of daily operations.

Qualifications:

Valid MN cosmetology license as required by state law in good standing. Previous salon experience required; experience working with seniors preferred. Skilled in various hair services including haircutting, coloring, perming, hair care treatments, and styling techniques. Knowledge of sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Reliable, compassionate, and patient-centered approach to care. Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
