Duties Perform a wide range of beauty services including hair styling, hair extensions, barbering, and chemical services. Educate clients on proper hair care routines, product recommendations, and upselling retail items to boost sales. Maintain a clean, safe work environment by following salon safety protocols and disinfection procedures at all times. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, offer personalized recommendations, and ensure a positive experience. Stay updated on industry trends such as color theory and new techniques to continually improve service quality. Experience Valid cosmetology license or relevant certification required; experience working in the beauty industry strongly preferred. Proven expertise in color theory application, hair cutting and blow outs. Familiarity with salon safety protocols, sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and client communication best practices. Experience performing hair styling, hair extensions, barbering, haircuts and chemical services is highly desirable. Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining excellent customer service skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their individual needs. Knowledge of retail math for sales transactions is a plus; enthusiasm for continuous learning about new beauty trends is encouraged.
