Delta Technical College is looking for an experienced Cosmetology Instructor to help students build the technical skills, confidence, and professionalism needed for successful careers in the beauty industry. If you enjoy mentoring others and making a lasting impact, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Do Deliver engaging classroom instruction and hands-on salon/lab training. Prepare students for state licensure and successful careers in cosmetology. Create a positive, supportive, and professional learning environment. Evaluate student progress and provide coaching, feedback, and academic support. Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and student records. Ensure salon equipment, tools, and supplies are organized, safe, and ready for instruction. Collaborate with campus leadership to promote student retention, graduation, and career placement. Participate in graduations, open houses, advisory meetings, and other campus events. Stay current with industry trends and maintain required licensure and continuing education. What We're Looking For Minimum 3 years of experience as a licensed Cosmetologist. Active Cosmetology License and Cosmetology Teacher License required. Passion for teaching and mentoring adult learners. Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills. Ability to create an engaging, hands-on learning experience. Why Join DTC?
