As a Barber, you will be the go-to expert for grooming, styling, and enhancing our clients' confidence through expert haircutting, shaving, and hair care services. Your passion for grooming artistry and exceptional customer service will help create a welcoming environment where clients feel valued and refreshed. Responsibilities Provide professional barbering services including haircuts, shaves, beard trims, and hair styling tailored to each client's preferences. Utilize various techniques such as straight razor shaving, clipper over comb, shear over comb etc to meet client needs. Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all tools, equipment, and work areas in accordance with health regulations. Engage with clients through effective communication to understand their grooming goals and recommend suitable hair care products or services. Manage appointments efficiently using Barber software like Booksy or similar platforms to ensure smooth scheduling. Upsell retail products such as hair care items, styling products, and grooming accessories to enhance client satisfaction and shop revenue. Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, checking in appointments, and managing retail sales transactions. Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in barbering techniques, customer service excellence, and store management practices. Qualifications Proven experience working in the barber industry with a strong background in barbering and hairstyling. Certification in Barbering from an accredited program; knowledge of sanitation standards is essential. Strong communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with clients and team members. Knowledge of retail math, upselling techniques, and store management principles. Ability to perform detailed services such as hair threading and straight razor shaves with precision.
