Responsibilities Provide expert hair styling, coloring, and finishing services tailored to each client's preferences and hair type Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and work areas regularly Use salon software to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently Engage in client communication to understand their needs and recommend suitable hair care products or treatments Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing check-ins/outs, and handling retail transactions with retail math accuracy Mentor junior team members and contribute to a positive team environment through effective communication and collaboration Skills Strong knowledge of hair care techniques including coloring, styling, and barbering with a focus on sanitation practices Ability to upsell retail products confidently while providing excellent customer service Excellent communication skills for client consultations and team collaboration Familiarity with store management principles to ensure smooth daily operations Knowledge of color theory for customized coloring services and the ability to mentor or learn from others in advanced techniques Join us as a South Asheville Stylist where your talent fuels our success!
