With over 23 years of experience in the community, our salon boasts a strong social media presence and a steady influx of new clients eager to book appointments. This role offers a unique opportunity for a stylist with availability, as most of our current team members are already booked. The stylist will operate as a rental professional, providing high-quality hair and beauty services in a vibrant and supportive environment. Duties Provide professional hairstyling and cosmetology services including cuts, color, styling, and treatments tailored to client needs. Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable styles or treatments. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the work station and tools. Manage appointment schedules efficiently, ensuring timely service delivery. Promote salon services through active participation in our social media platforms to attract new clients. Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals. Operate as an independent contractor, managing your own bookings and client interactions within the salon space. Collaborate with other stylists and staff to uphold the salon's reputation for excellence. Skills Valid cosmetology license or certification in accordance with state requirements. Proven experience in hairstyling and cosmetology services. Strong communication skills to effectively consult with clients and promote services. Ability to work independently as an rental stylist while maintaining professionalism within the salon environment. Creative flair and attention to detail in styling techniques. Knowledge of current hair trends, products, and industry best practices. Reliable, punctual, and organized with excellent customer service skills.
