Duties Perform a wide range of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, hair and hair threading to meet clients' unique preferences. Deliver expert barbering services using tools like straight razors and ensure precise grooming for male clients. Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools and workstations regularly to ensure a safe environment. Provide personalized consultations on hair care routines, product recommendations, and hair coloring techniques based on color theory principles. Upsell retail products related to hair care,and other beauty services to enhance client satisfaction. Mentor junior staff or apprentices when needed and foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages client communication and loyalty. Qualifications Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience working in the beauty industry. Strong knowledge of hair styling techniques, hair coloring, hair extensions, and hair care products. Skilled in sanitation practices to uphold health standards within the salon environment. Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their needs. Experience with retail math for effective upselling and client engagement strategies.
