Job Summary Newly renovate, luxurious Wisper Hair Salon is opening their doors in their new location next to David Busters in the Freehold Raceway Mall The look is a must see ( this is not your mama's "mall salon") To seal our new looks, We are seeking a skilled and passionate hairstylist that can service men and women to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of haircutting techniques and styles, along with excellent customer service skills. As a stylist , you will be responsible for providing high-quality hairstyling, color, and chemical services while ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for clients. Your expertise in various hair cutting techniques, color theory, and additional services such as men haircuting, extensions and threading will enhance the overall client experience. Responsibilities Provide haircuts, color, and chemical services. Sanitate tools and maintain cleanliness of workstations to ensure a safe environment for clients. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their desired look, needs and preferences. Offer additional services such as hair coloring, extensions, threading, and makeup is a plus. Be a team player. Recommend and sell retail, assist in store tasks to ensure smooth operations. Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques to provide clients with contemporary styles. Experience Proven experience as a hairstylist or in a similar role within the beauty industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of hairdressin, barbering techniques, color theory, and sanitation practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Experience in managing front desk operations is a plus. Familiarity with additional services such as extensions, hair threading, or makeup is advantageous but not mandatory.
