Duties Greet clients warmly and assist with check-in and appointment scheduling using salon software such as

MINDBODY.

Prepare workstations by sanitizing tools and ensuring all hair care, coloring, and styling products are stocked and organized. Support stylists with hair treatments including hair coloring, hair extensions, hair styling, and hair threading. Assist with retail sales through upselling products like hair care, nail care, and makeup items to enhance client satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations, including sterilizing tools like straight razors and barbering equipment. Manage client communication to confirm appointments, provide follow-up care advice, and ensure a positive experience. Support store management with inventory tracking, retail math calculations, and basic administrative tasks to keep the salon running efficiently. Experience Prior experience working in the beauty industry or a customer service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential. Knowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY or similar platforms is a plus. Familiarity with hair care techniques including coloring, styling, hair extensions, barbering (including straight razors), and hair threading is advantageous. Understanding of sanitation procedures, cosmetology practices, color theory, and nail care will help you excel in this role. Strong communication skills are vital for effective client communication and team collaboration.
