Job Summary We are a charming new salon located in the heart of East Aurora, featuring a vintage glam vibe. We are seeking a talented and passionate Hairstylist/Cosmetologist to join our team. This role offers the flexibility to rent a chair and keep all your earnings and tips. Our salon provides a welcoming environment with a lovely waiting area, coffee/tea/cocoa bar, and restroom facilities for your clients. Utilities and WiFi are included, creating a comfortable space for both stylists and clients. Duties Provide professional hairstyling, cutting, coloring, and styling services tailored to client preferences. Offer cosmetology services such as treatments, blowouts, and other beauty enhancements. Maintain a clean and organized work station in accordance with health and safety standards. Engage with clients to understand their needs and deliver exceptional customer service. Manage appointment schedules efficiently while ensuring timely service delivery. Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and product knowledge in hairstyling and cosmetology. Foster a friendly and professional atmosphere that aligns with the salon's vintage glam aesthetic. Requirements Valid cosmetology license or relevant certification for hairstyling and cosmetology practice. Proven experience in hairstyling, coloring, cutting, or related beauty services preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates willing to learn. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism in a rental chair setting.
