Job Description
Greenburgh-Graham UFSD is a New York State Special Act public school district serving over 260 students aged 5-21. Our focus is on providing comprehensive education and support for students with special needs, from early childhood to adult life, empowering them to achieve independence and community integration. We serve students with a range of needs in classes with low student-to-staff ratios. We are seeking a dedicated, hands-on Part Time Barbering Instructor. Teach, demonstrate, and evaluate all aspects of barbering, from foundational cuts and shaves to advanced styling and grooming. Lead engaging classroom instruction on technical skills, safety protocols, and industry trends. Mentor students one-on-one to build their confidence and practical skills behind the chair. Prepare students for success on the Licensing Exam Maintain a current understanding of industry advancements to enrich the curriculum. Requirements A valid barbering License. Relevant experience in the barbering industry Outstanding ability to communicate and engage diverse learners. High School Diploma. Strong communication skills to motivate and mentor aspiring professionals.
