About the Role The Head Spa Specialist MUST be a licensed cosmetologist and MUST be available at least four weekend days per month ( Saturday or Sunday - both days preferred). The Head Spa - New Albany/Polaris/Powell is dedicated to delivering outstanding head spa treatments in a serene and upscale environment. This position emphasizes client relaxation and well-being, combining Japanese-inspired techniques with advanced scalp therapies to improve hair health and promote overall wellness. The role provides a pathway for professional growth and skill enhancement.

Key Responsibilities Client Consultations:

Assess client needs, address inquiries, and recommend suitable treatments.

Head Spa Treatments:

Perform signature head spa services, including scalp massages and deep cleansing therapies.

Blow-Dry Styling:

Create polished looks such as sleek, wavy, or voluminous styles.

Luxurious Ambiance:

Maintain a relaxing, high-end setting that ensures clients feel pampered.

Client Education:

Share tips and recommend products for effective at-home hair and scalp care.

Sanitation and Organization:

Ensure tools and work areas are clean, sanitized, and well-organized.

Continuous Learning:

Stay informed on the latest trends, techniques, and products in the industry.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with the team to meet business objectives and deliver a client-focused experience.

Qualifications Cosmetology License:

Must hold a current and valid cosmetology license.

Customer Service Excellence:

Strong interpersonal skills to provide personalized, warm service and ensure a positive client experience. Experience with hair and blow-dry techniques & can do a great blowout.

Professional Appearance:

Maintain a polished and professional demeanor at all times. Preferred Skills Experience in luxury services is a plus. Familiarity with hair and scalp care products.
