Job Summary We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a cosmetologist/hairstylist at Rita's Salon & Spa, you'll provide professional, high-quality services customized to each client's wishes. You'll deliver everything from classic haircuts and color to advanced techniques like balayage, all while providing a memorable and relaxing salon experience. Responsibilities Consult with clients to understand their needs and make expert recommendations Provide a range of hair styling services, including cuts, colors, and treatments tailored to client preferences. Expertly apply hair extensions and other specialized techniques as needed. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and tools in accordance with salon standards. Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling, client management, and inventory tracking. Uphold all health and safety standards Foster positive relationships with clients through exceptional customer service and effective communication. Assist with front desk operations, including greeting clients and managing appointments. Mentor junior stylists by sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance their skills. Stay updated on the latest trends in hair fashion and techniques to provide clients with innovative styles. Experience Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio showcasing your work. Proficiency in various hair styling techniques, including straight razor cutting. Previous experience in customer service roles is highly desirable. Familiarity with salon software systems is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
