Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Pet Groomer and Stylist (Dogs & Cats), where your passion for animals and flair for grooming come together to create happy, confident pets and satisfied pet owners. In this role, you will deliver professional grooming services, including bathing, trimming, styling, and special treatments, ensuring every pet looks and feels their best. Your expertise will help strengthen our reputation for exceptional pet care while providing a positive experience for every furry client. Responsibilities Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, trimming, haircutting, and styling tailored to each pet's breed and individual needs Assess each pet's coat condition and recommend appropriate grooming treatments or maintenance plans Handle animals safely and gently using proper restraint techniques to ensure comfort and security during grooming procedures Maintain cleanliness of grooming tools, equipment, and work areas to uphold hygiene standards Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about grooming options, aftercare instructions, and special requests Assist with pet handling during appointments, ensuring pets are calm and comfortable throughout the process Support team members with additional animal care duties such as basic veterinary assistance or kennel management when needed Skills Strong animal handling skills with the ability to manage dogs and cats of various sizes and temperaments confidently Knowledge of pet grooming techniques, breed standards, and styling trends Experience in dog training or veterinary settings is highly desirable Familiarity with animal restraint methods to ensure safety for pets and staff Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for equipment or large animals Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Basic understanding of veterinary technician or assistant responsibilities related to animal care and health monitoring Join us in creating a joyful environment where pets leave looking fabulous and feeling loved!
