Supervise students during practical salon sessions, ensuring safety protocols are followed and techniques are correctly executed. Support students with hands-on training in advanced treatments such as dermabrasion, facial procedures, eyelash extensions, hair extensions, and trigger point therapy. Mentor students by offering constructive feedback, guidance on professional development, and encouragement to build confidence in their skills. Collaborate with full-time instructors to coordinate classroom activities and maintain a positive learning environment. Maintain a clean, organized salon environment that adheres to health and safety standards at all times. Skills Extensive knowledge of cosmetology disciplines including skincare, massage therapy, hair coloring, barbering, and aesthetic treatments. Proven experience working in the beauty industry with practical expertise in salon services such as deep tissue massage, facial treatments, nail care, hair threading, and eyelash extensions. Strong teaching abilities with experience in adult education or classroom instruction; capable of lesson planning and student mentoring. Excellent communication skills for supervising students and providing clear demonstrations of techniques like hair styling, makeup application, and body waxing. Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom settings as a floater instructor while maintaining high standards of professionalism. Knowledge of anatomy relevant to cosmetology procedures to ensure safe practices during treatments like dermabrasion or laser therapy.
