Experience Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a hairstylist or cosmetologist with a strong portfolio of diverse services. Familiarity with salon management systems like MINDBODY or similar salon software for appointment scheduling and retail tracking. Skilled in hair coloring techniques, including balayage, highlights, and color correction using advanced color theory knowledge. Experience performing hair extensions, straight razor grooming, and barbering techniques for men's grooming needs. Knowledge of sanitation standards specific to cosmetology practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Ability to communicate clearly with clients about their desired looks while providing professional recommendations confidently. Strong retail sales skills with experience upselling products such as shampoos, conditioners, styling tools, and other hair care essentials.
