The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in hair cutting, coloring, and styling techniques, along with excellent customer service skills. As a Hair Stylist, you will have the opportunity to create stunning looks for our clients while providing exceptional service in a welcoming salon environment! We are a commission based salon (50%) @Capellisalonfrisco on instagram! Responsibilities Provide high-quality hair cutting, coloring, and styling services to clients based on their preferences and trends. scheduling and client management. Maintain a clean and sanitized work area, adhering to health and safety standards. Demonstrate knowledge of color theory to achieve desired results for clients. Perform makeup application services as requested by clients. Engage in upselling products and services to enhance the client experience and increase salon revenue. Mentor junior stylists and assist in training new team members as needed. Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling and continue developing skills through ongoing education. Utilize straight razors and barbering techniques when necessary to meet client requests. Qualifications/ Requirements Valid cosmetology license or equivalent certification is required. Strong understanding of store management practices within a salon setting is an advantage. Experience in mentoring or training staff is highly desirable. Knowledge of makeup application techniques is a plus. Familiarity with color theory and various hair treatment methods is essential. Ability to sanitize tools and maintain hygiene standards effectively. Experience with straight razor techniques and barbering skills is beneficial but not required.
