Overview •This is a commission-only position. No hourly wage. Earnings shown are an estimated based on typical commission income. Responsibilities Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, and threading to meet client preferences and enhance their natural beauty Consult with clients to understand their desired look, offering professional recommendations based on hair type, face shape, and current trends Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness by adhering to all health regulations and store protocols Use salon management software such as mangomint to schedule appointments, update client records, and manage retail sales efficiently Upsell retail products like hair care items and styling tools to support clients' ongoing hair health and styling needs Stay current on industry trends, new techniques, and product knowledge through continuous education and mentoring opportunities Foster excellent client communication by listening attentively, providing personalized advice, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere Requirements Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience working in the beauty industry preferred Proficiency in salon software such as mangomint for appointment booking and client management Skilled in hair coloring, styling services Strong knowledge of hair care principles, color theory, sanitation practices, and current styling trends Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and provide outstanding customer service Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism Embark on a rewarding career where your talent transforms lives!
