In this role, you will provide exceptional beauty services to our clients while ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere. Your expertise in various cosmetology techniques will help enhance the overall client experience, making them feel valued and satisfied with their services. Duties As a Cosmetologist, your responsibilities will include: Performing a variety of beauty treatments, including haircuts, styling, coloring, and chemical treatments. Providing skin care services such as facials and hair threading to enhance clients' appearance. Demonstrating product knowledge through effective product demos and upselling appropriate products to clients. Delivering outstanding customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing their needs effectively. Managing appointments using MINDBODY or similar scheduling software to ensure efficient service delivery. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the work area to uphold hygiene standards. Staying updated on the latest beauty trends and techniques to provide clients with innovative services. Experience To be successful in this role, candidates should possess: A valid cosmetology license in the state of practice. Previous experience in a salon or med spa environment is preferred, showcasing strong customer service skills. Familiarity with hospitality principles to create an inviting atmosphere for clients. Proficiency in sales techniques to effectively upsell products and services. Experience with straight razor techniques is advantageous but not mandatory.
