for appointment scheduling, client records, and retail sales tracking. Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations and store policies. Engage with clients through effective communication, understanding their needs, and offering expert advice on hair care, coloring, extensions, and styling options. Promote retail products by upselling hair care items, styling tools, and grooming products to enhance client satisfaction and store revenue. Manage client appointments efficiently while providing a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits. Assist in mentoring new team members and contribute to a positive team environment focused on excellent customer service and professional growth. Experience Proven experience working as a barber or in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of hair styling skills. Proficiency with salon management software such as MINDBODY or similar platforms for scheduling and client management. Skilled in various barbering techniques including straight razor shaves, clipper cuts, fade work, and beard grooming. Knowledge of hair coloring techniques, color theory, hair extensions, and hair threading is highly desirable. Strong understanding of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Excellent communication skills for effective client consultations and retail sales conversations. Experience mentoring or training junior team members is a plus; enthusiasm for continuous learning is essential.
