Duties Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, using advanced techniques like balayage or ombré. Offer personalized consultations to recommend suitable styles, treatments, and retail products aligned with client preferences. Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, checking in appointments, and handling payments efficiently. Upsell retail products such as hair care items, cosmetics, and accessories to boost sales while educating clients on their benefits Experience Proven experience as a hairstylist or cosmetologist with a strong portfolio of diverse hair styling techniques. Knowledge of color theory principles to create vibrant or subtle color transformations tailored to each client. Skilled in advanced services such as hair color, cuts, and razor shaves. Familiarity with salon management for scheduling and retail operations. Excellent communication skills to connect with clients effectively and provide exceptional customer service. Experience in retail sales with an understanding of retail math to maximize revenue opportunities through upselling. Certification in Cosmetology as required by state licensing laws; additional training in nail care or makeup application is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of sanitation and professionalism.
