Job Description:

Picture Day Child Flow Assistant This role is responsible for moving children quickly and safely through picture day while keeping them comfortable and cared for. The children range in age from 6 weeks to 6 years old , including infants who may not yet walk or talk. Picture day is fast-paced, with approximately 80 children moving through the process in about 3.5 hours , so efficiency, organization, and calm energy are essential. You will bring children from their classrooms to the picture day room, help prepare them for photos, and return them to class afterward. This role requires balancing speed with gentleness, especially with very young children. Key Responsibilities Safely transport infants and young children from classrooms to the picture day room Assist non-walking or non-verbal children with care and comfort Remember children's names and call them confidently Help children feel calm and secure before their photos Perform quick touch-ups including wiping noses, fixing hair, and straightening clothing Keep children moving efficiently through the process to stay on schedule Return children to their classrooms promptly after photos Communicate clearly with photographers and school staff Stay organized and focused in a high-energy, time-sensitive environment Ideal Fit Comfortable working with infants, toddlers, and young children Able to move quickly while remaining gentle and patient Calm, nurturing, and attentive to children's needs Strong attention to detail and good memory for names Adaptable and steady under pressure Having fun on the job, smiling and being GREAT with kids is a must Early Mornings and half days.
