Licensed Barber — Main Street Barbers Overview Main Street Barbers is growing, and we're looking for licensed barbers who want more than just a chair to cut behind. We're building a high-performing, client-focused barbershop where barbers can stay busy, grow their clientele, improve their craft, and be part of a team working toward a common vision. We're looking for barbers who are hardworking, dependable, coachable, team-oriented, and genuinely care about the people sitting in their chair. Our ideal barber is comfortable working in a busy environment and can confidently work toward handling 12+ clients per day without sacrificing haircut quality or the client experience. Responsibilities Provide high-quality men's haircuts, fades, beard trims, styling, and barbering services Deliver a consistent, professional experience from consultation through the finished haircut Listen carefully to clients and make sure they feel heard, respected, and taken care of Work efficiently in a busy shop environment while maintaining quality Use Booksy to manage appointments, client information, notes, and scheduling Maintain accurate client records and appointment information Build relationships with clients and work toward strong client retention and rebooking Maintain a clean, professional workstation throughout the day Properly sanitize tools and equipment between clients Help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the overall shop Arrive on time, prepared, and ready for your scheduled workday Communicate professionally with clients, teammates, and leadership Participate in team meetings, education, coaching, and continued development Be receptive to feedback and willing to adjust as the shop continues to grow and improve Contribute to a positive, hardworking, team-oriented culture What We're Looking For Valid Utah barber or cosmetology license, or ability to obtain appropriate Utah licensing Strong men's haircutting and grooming skills Ability to perform quality services efficiently in a high-volume environment Comfortable working toward 12+ clients per day Strong consultation and communication skills Client-first mindset Dependable and consistent Coachable and open to feedback Strong work ethic and willingness to stay productive Positive attitude and good energy Team mentality Desire to continue learning and improving Willingness to adapt as the shop grows Comfortable using or learning Booksy Interested in building a strong, long-term clientele The Kind of Person Who Will Thrive Here You don't need to know everything.
