As a Hair Stylist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the beauty and confidence of customers through your expertise in hair cutting, coloring, and styling. The first one-stop-shop in Salt Lake City! Build your business in our beautiful, clean downtown location. Elemntal Wellness, located in the heart of Salt Lake City, this is a prime location on Broadway, offering Part Time BOOTH RENTAL or Commission based options, allowing you to build your clientele quickly from our existing services from other practitioners like massage, skin care, nail techs as well as ~Private Infrared Sauna rooms with shower & Cold Plunge ~Communal Traditional Sauna room with showers and duel Cold Plunge and ~Fresh Juice Bar (coming soon) Enjoy the freedom of building clients and friendships while aligning with the positive energy of our wellness center. 1 year lease agreement. Can choose from 1-5 days per week to work And be willing to be available for walk-ins in downtime. Style Station is set up with Shampoo Bowl, Chair, full size mirror, locking storage and semi private mixing space. Free 2 hr parking on the street. Across the street from the Farmers Market opening in June with 10k visitors every Saturday.

Hair booth/room dimensions are:

14' 8 " width 8' 4" depth 9' Height to air vent, with open ceiling to 12 feet. Duties Provide high-quality hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments tailored to individual client needs. Utilize advanced techniques such as hair threading and extensions to meet client preferences. Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and ready for use. Engage with clients to understand their desired looks and offer professional advice on styles and products. Manage appointments efficiently using salon software like Square to ensure optimal scheduling. Assist with retail sales by recommending products that complement the services provided. Support front desk operations by greeting clients, answering inquiries, and managing transactions. Stay updated on the latest trends in hair fashion and techniques through continuous education. Skills Proficient in cosmetology with a strong understanding of color theory and hair care techniques. Experience with salon software systems such as Square for appointment management. Excellent customer service skills to create a welcoming environment for clients. Knowledge of retail sales strategies to effectively promote salon products. Familiarity with hair threading and extensions is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills for managing appointments and maintaining salon operations.
