This position is hourly based, part-time teaching position and the ideal candidate must have a valid Cosmetology License and Cosmetology Instructor License. [Location] 8620 Westwood Center Drive, Vienna, VA 22182 [Job Type] In-Person, Hourly, Instructor [Tentative Schedule] Monday / Wednesday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm (Tentative) 6 hours per day, 1 hour of lunch break is non-payable. [Duties and Responsibilities ] Knowledgeable in the field of Cosmetology Teach theory (Chapters in Milady) and practicum classes Prepare students for the board license exam Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to maintain successful relationships with students and colleagues Adhere to health and safety procedures May have to visit main campus and go to salon (located in Centreville, VA) at times Other tasks as assigned [Qualification/Requirements]
