[DPOR Instructor License is Mandatory ] Overview We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Evening Cosmetology Instructor to join our vibrant team! As an Evening Cosmetology Instructor, you will deliver engaging, hands-on training in a variety of cosmetology disciplines, including skincare, hair styling, esthetic treatments, and nail care. Your energetic approach will motivate students to excel while ensuring they gain comprehensive knowledge and practical skills necessary for success in the beauty industry. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on aspiring beauty professionals during evening hours. Duties Deliver comprehensive classroom instruction in cosmetology topics such as skincare, hair coloring, makeup application, and esthetic laser treatments Supervise and mentor students during practical salon sessions, fostering a positive learning environment Develop detailed lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and industry best practices Assess student progress through evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support their growth Maintain a safe and professional classroom atmosphere by enforcing health and safety protocols Stay current with industry trends and incorporate innovative techniques into teaching modules Support students' personal development by offering guidance on career pathways within the beauty industry Requirements Valid instructor license in cosmetology is mandatory; must meet all state licensing requirements Proven experience working in the beauty industry across multiple disciplines such as skincare, massage therapy, barbering, or esthetic treatments Extensive knowledge of cosmetology practices including hair styling, hair extensions, body waxing, eyelash extensions, and facial treatments Strong classroom experience with the ability to plan engaging lessons and manage student supervision effectively Familiarity with anatomy, trigger point therapy, dermabrasion, deep tissue massage, and aesthetic laser treatments preferred Excellent communication skills with a passion for mentoring adult learners in a professional setting Ability to motivate students through energetic teaching methods and personalized support Join us as an Evening Cosmetology Instructor and help shape the next generation of beauty professionals!
