Responsibilities Perform a wide range of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, and hair extensions to meet clients' unique preferences. Utilize salon software such as Square to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently. Conduct consultations to understand client needs and recommend suitable hair care products or treatments. Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all workstations and tools, adhering to health regulations. Become trained in organic hair products. Education for ammonia, free and healthy hair color. Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and upselling retail products to enhance revenue. Mentor junior team members and collaborate with colleagues to foster a positive team environment focused on client satisfaction. Skills Proficiency with salon management software like Square for scheduling and sales tracking. Strong knowledge of hair care techniques, color theory, and the latest styling trends. Experience working in the beauty industry with expertise in hair styling, coloring, barbering (including straight razors), and hair extensions. Excellent communication skills for client consultations and building lasting relationships through personalized service. Ability to perform detailed services Knowledge of sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Retail sales skills including upselling products like shampoos, conditioners, styling tools, and skincare items using retail math principles.
