Hair Braider/Assistant

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Hair Braider/Assistant to join our vibrant salon team! As a key member of our salon, you will help deliver exceptional customer experiences by combining technical skill with friendly, professional service. Responsibilities Perform intricate hair braiding styles, including knotless braids, box braids, cornrows, feed-ins, twists, and other popular designs Assist senior stylists with shampooing, blow-drying, and more. Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas following salon protocols Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients, answering questions, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere Support retail sales efforts through upselling hair care products, accessories, and additional services Assist with front desk duties including appointment bookings, check-ins, and store management tasks Requirements Proven experience or strong interest in hair braiding, Familiarity with sanitation standards and proper tool sterilization practices Ability to perform hair extensions, Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members Basic retail math skills for upselling products and managing retail sales Willingness to learn new techniques including straight razor shaving or advanced color theory applications Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to enhancing beauty through expert styling and personalized service!
