Evening Shifts:

4:00 PM-11:00 PM | Weekend Availability Required Piedmont Springs is looking for a friendly, dependable, energetic person to join our Guest Services team. First, an important note: this is not a sedentary receptionist position. Although every member of our Guest Services team works at the front desk, this is an active, hands-on position . Our staff rotate between front-desk responsibilities and helping operate the spa throughout the shift. On any given evening, you may be checking in guests and answering phones one moment, then walking through the facility to reset spa rooms, handle towels and laundry, check restrooms and common areas, restock supplies, or assist with other operational needs the next. If you're looking for a job where you'll spend most of your shift sitting behind a desk, this probably isn't the right position for you. On the other hand, if you enjoy staying busy, moving around, helping customers, working independently, and having different things to do throughout your shift, you may be exactly who we're looking for. What You'll Do Our Guest Services staff are responsible for helping provide a welcoming experience for our customers while keeping the spa operating smoothly.

Responsibilities include:

Greeting customers and providing friendly, professional service Checking guests in and processing payments Answering phones and booking appointments Learning our services and helping customers select and schedule them Maintaining accurate reservations and customer information in our scheduling system Handling gift card purchases and redemptions Handling cash and maintaining an accurate cash drawer Walking first-time guests through the facility and explaining how their service works Monitoring appointment times and helping keep spa rooms running on schedule Resetting hot tub, sauna and steam rooms between guests Collecting, washing, drying and folding towels and other laundry Checking restrooms, guest areas and common areas throughout the shift and cleaning or restocking them as needed Restocking towels, water, tea, bathroom supplies and other items Performing routine water-chemistry checks and other basic spa-operating procedures after training Helping identify and report facility or equipment issues Completing evening closing procedures Pitching in wherever needed to keep the spa clean, organized and running smoothly These responsibilities reflect the actual mix of customer-service and operating duties contained in Piedmont Springs' training manual, including room turnover, laundry, cleanliness, stocking, chemical checks and closing responsibilities. The Person We're Looking For We're less concerned about whether you've worked at a spa before than whether you have the right approach to work. You'll probably enjoy this position if you: Like staying busy and prefer an active job to sitting in one place all day Naturally notice when something needs to be done and take care of it Are friendly and comfortable interacting with many different types of people Can remain calm and organized when several things need attention at once Take pride in keeping your workplace clean and presentable Are comfortable cleaning guest areas and restrooms when necessary Don't mind handling towels, doing laundry or performing other hands-on tasks Are dependable and understand that your coworkers are counting on you to show up for scheduled shifts Can follow detailed procedures while also using good judgment Are comfortable working independently without needing constant direction Pay attention to details, particularly when handling reservations, payments and customer requests Are willing to learn and accept feedback Have a genuine "pitch in and help" attitude Previous customer-service, hospitality, retail, restaurant, spa or similar experience is helpful, but attitude, reliability and work ethic matter more to us than having a particular background. We are looking for someone who can reliably commit to this schedule rather than someone seeking temporary evening availability. Physical & Work Environment This is an active position. Team members spend significant portions of their shifts standing and walking throughout the facility , including moving between floors and different areas of the spa. The job also involves routine activities such as handling laundry and towels, bending and reaching while resetting or stocking areas, and working around the warm and humid environment associated with hot tubs, saunas and steam rooms.
