Job ResponsibilitiesStylist Assistance & Client Service Assist senior stylists with daily salon operations and client services. Perform professional shampooing, hair washing, and preparation for hair treatments. Assist with coloring, bleaching, perming, highlighting, and styling services, within the scope of your license. Prepare tools, products, and stations for upcoming appointments. Provide attentive and professional customer service. Support multiple stylists in a fast-paced salon environment. Help maintain an efficient and organized workflow during busy service hours. Cleanliness & Salon Maintenance Cleanliness is an essential part of our salon culture. We expect every team member to take pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. Maintain exceptional cleanliness throughout the salon. Keep styling stations, shampoo areas, tools, equipment, and shared spaces clean and organized. Proactively identify areas that need cleaning or attention without waiting to be asked. Regularly sweep hair, sanitize workstations, organize products, and maintain salon equipment. Help maintain clean floors, mirrors, countertops, waiting areas, and other shared spaces. Follow proper sanitation and hygiene procedures. Take ownership of salon cleanliness and contribute to maintaining our professional standards. We value assistants who can observe their surroundings, recognize what needs to be done, and take initiative rather than waiting for instructions. Teamwork & Professional Development Work collaboratively with stylists, assistants, and management. Be willing to help teammates during busy periods, even when a task is not specifically assigned to you. Demonstrate initiative and anticipate what needs to be done. Participate in weekly training classes and monthly skills assessments. Accept constructive feedback and continuously improve technical skills. Qualifications Required:

Valid California Cosmetology or Barbering License. Willingness to participate in our structured 2-4 year training and development program. Strong work ethic and genuine passion for hairstyling. Comfortable working in a busy, high-volume salon environment. Ability to work on your feet for extended periods, with reasonable accommodations where applicable. Exceptional cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail. Ability to recognize tasks that need attention and take initiative without constant supervision. Not Required:

Previous salon or hairstylist assistant experience. Bilingual English and Mandarin communication skills. Interest in Korean and Asian hairstyling techniques. Familiarity with modern coloring, bleaching, or perming techniques. Prior experience with advanced coloring, bleaching, or perming is not required. We are willing to teach candidates who demonstrate dedication and a strong willingness to learn. Compensation & Career Opportunities Competitive compensation based on experience, skills, and performance. Many of our assistants earn between $4,000 and $10,000 per month, depending on experience, performance, and applicable compensation arrangements.
