Who We're Looking For We are looking for professionals who: Hold an active and valid esthetician, cosmetology, waxing, or other professional license required by the state or local jurisdiction where services will be performed Have professional waxing and hair-removal experience Are knowledgeable in proper waxing techniques and skin preparation Are reliable and committed to appointments they accept Provide high-quality, safe, hygienic, and professional client care Are comfortable traveling to clients' homes, hotels, senior communities, workplaces, or event locations Can work independently in mobile service environments Have reliable transportation Have the necessary professional waxing equipment and supplies Follow appropriate sanitation, disinfection, infection-control, and professional hygiene procedures Have a smartphone and reliable internet access Are eligible to provide services as a 1099 independent contractor Professional Equipment and Supplies Providers should have the professional equipment and supplies necessary to safely perform the waxing services they accept. Depending on the service, this may include: Professional wax warmer Hard and/or soft wax Wax strips Disposable applicators Gloves Pre-wax and post-wax products Sanitizing and disinfecting supplies Towels, linens, or disposable coverings Portable treatment table or appropriate mobile setup when required Other professional waxing supplies necessary for the service Services May Include Depending on your professional qualifications, licensing requirements, and local client demand, available opportunities may include: Eyebrow Waxing Upper Lip Waxing Chin and Facial Waxing Underarm Waxing Arm Waxing Full or Half Leg Waxing Back Waxing Chest Waxing Bikini Waxing Brazilian Waxing Full Body Waxing In-Home Waxing Services Hotel Waxing Services Senior Community Beauty Services Event and Workplace Beauty Services Other waxing and hair-removal services within your professional qualifications and scope of practice Important License Requirement Applicants must hold any professional license, certification, or registration required by the state or local jurisdiction where waxing services will be performed. Depending on the state, this may include an active esthetician, cosmetology, or waxing-related license. The name on your professional license should match your government-issued identification. If the names differ, supporting documentation may be requested during the verification process.
