Job Overview Come join our team at FINA MedSpa as a Medical Assistant and be a part of a luxury, fast-paced MedSpa dedicated to delivering the highest standard of care, beauty, and wellness. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care across diverse medical settings. This energetic position offers the opportunity to support the physician and healthcare professionals by performing clinical and administrative duties that ensure smooth clinic operations. You will be at the forefront of patient interactions, assisting with examinations, procedures, and documentation, all while fostering a welcoming environment that prioritizes patient comfort and safety. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient intake, including medical history, medication review, allergies, and vital signs Accurately document patient encounters in compliance with clinic and regulatory standards Prepare patients and treatment rooms for aesthetic and medical procedures, ensuring proper setup, sterile technique, and equipment readiness Assist the provider during injectables, ultrasound treatments, body contouring, microneedling, PRP/PRF, and other medical aesthetic procedures Maintain strict adherence to infection control, bloodborne pathogen protocols, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations Monitor patients pre

- and post-procedure instructions, aftercare, and follow-up Coordinate patient flow to maintain efficient clinic operations and minimize wait times Communicate effectively with the provider, staff, and management to ensure seamless patient care Collect and document patient information accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Support patient intake processes by verifying information, updating medical records, and scheduling follow-up appointments Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols in hospital or outpatient clinics Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, offering education on treatment plans, and ensuring a positive experience Maintain compliance with all state regulations and scope-of-practice guidelines Proficient in phlebotomy and venipuncture; must be comfortable performing blood draws independently Requirements Part-Time Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in various healthcare settings such as dermatology, hospital medicine, plastic surgery, urgent care, or outpatient clinics Demonstrated ability to accurately read, interpret, and complete both paper medical charts and electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) Advanced proficiency in accurate documentation, chart audits, and maintaining complete medical records Familiarity with EHR systems to ensure precise recordkeeping and billing Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, patient assessments, and clinical documentation Experience obtaining and documenting vital signs, patient medical history, and intake assessments Experience assisting providers with clinical procedures, patient prep, and post-procedure care Experience coordinating patient flow, room utilization, and daily clinical operations Strong understanding of sterile technique, universal precautions, and patient safety standards Ability to follow physician orders precisely and within scope of practice Excellent patient communications skills and professional bedside manner Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining attention to detail Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain professional appearance and conduct Authorization to work in the United States Preferred Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program Certified Medical Assistant Bachelor's Degree Minimum of at least 2 years in a hospital setting Prior experience in a Lead MA, Senior MA, or supervisory support role Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant and Front Desk Receptionist in a MedSpa, Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, or Aesthetic clinic Experience assisting with or supporting injectables, laser treatments, and aesthetic procedures Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Interest in aesthetics, skincare, and wellness Interest in long-term growth and leadership within the organization Bilingual Willingness to learn the clinic's products and services Compensation & Benefits Starting pay range: $22•28 per hour Compensation is based on experience, skills, and qualifications and may be higher for well-qualified candidates Opportunities for pay increases, advancements, and additional certifications based on performance To apply, please email your CV and resume to finamedspahi@gmail.
