Independent Contractor / Contract Position Bring Comfort and Confidence to Our Residents Ridgewood Rehabilitation & Living Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate Beautician to provide hair care and grooming services to our residents on a contract basis. This is a wonderful opportunity for a licensed cosmetologist who enjoys working with seniors and wants to make a meaningful difference by helping our residents look and feel their best . Position Summary The Contract Beautician will provide salon services to residents within our long-term care and rehabilitation facility. Services may include haircuts, shampoos, sets, styling, and other basic beauty services. The ideal candidate is dependable, patient, personable, and compassionate , with a genuine enjoyment of working with seniors. What You'll Do Provide hair care services including shampooing, cutting, styling, and sets Help residents feel confident and cared for through personalized salon services Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area Build positive relationships with residents, families, and facility staff Schedule appointments and manage service times efficiently Follow all infection control and safety procedures Supply your own tools and products unless otherwise arranged What We're Looking For Current North Carolina Cosmetology License Experience working in long-term care, senior living, or with an elderly population preferred Compassionate and patient demeanor Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Dependable and professional Ability to work independently as a contractor Professional liability insurance preferred Contract Details Independent Contractor Position Flexible Schedule Established resident clientele Opportunity to build meaningful relationships with residents Make a positive difference in residents' confidence and quality of life Why Ridgewood?
