Duties Assist senior stylists with preparing clients for hair services, including shampooing, conditioning, and setting up tools and products Maintain salon sanitation standards by cleaning stations, tools, and work areas regularly Support with hair cutting, styling, coloring, and finishing techniques under supervision Manage client communication to ensure a welcoming atmosphere and address any immediate needs or questions Help with retail product upselling by recommending hair care and styling products suited to clients' needs Keep track of appointment schedules using salon software such as MINDBODY or similar platforms Support store management with inventory organization and stock replenishment Skills Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities Basic knowledge of salon software systems like

for scheduling and client management Familiarity with hair care products, hair extensions, coloring techniques, and sanitation protocols Experience working in the beauty industry or cosmetology education is preferred Ability to perform hair styling, threading, makeup application, nail care, and barbering techniques such as straight razor use is a plus Knowledge of color theory to assist with color matching and application processes Effective mentoring skills to learn from senior stylists and develop your craft Retail math skills for upselling products effectively while maintaining client satisfaction This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their expertise in the beauty industry while delivering outstanding client service.
