Full Job Description Specific Job Functions:
Supervise Spa/Salon staff to ensure they adhere to and enforce company, as well as Spa and Salon policies, practices and procedures while being alert to their duties and responsibilities. Instruct new hires and employees on expectations and responsibilities for each role. Order products for back bar and amenities. Prepare schedules for spa attendants and maintain time-off requests. Check guests in and out of spa/salon facility. Provide tours of locker room and wet areas to all guests. Provide beverages, towels, robes, and slippers to guests. Provide exceptional customer service and assist guests with any questions. Ensure all services are completed promptly in time allotted. Provide professional and courteous behavior to all guests and employees. Discard soiled linen as well as folding and restocking of clean linen as needed. Pick up linen from dock as needed. Push and pull linen carts to appropriate areas. Stock water and juices in spa area. Oversee guests' needs in the gym by providing water in the cooler, bottled water and offering iced towels. Monitor the gym for cleanliness and reorganize weights and other equipment. Maintain the overall appearance of the spa/salon. Perform other job related duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department.
Qualifications:
Two to five years customer service experience with at least one year of spa fitness experience preferred. Must have flexible schedule. Excellent communication skills a must. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook preferred. Able to communicate in English both verbal and written form. Bi-lingual helpful. Basic knowledge of spa software preferred. Knowledge of basic office equipment including multi-line phone system, fax and copy machine preferred. Ability to multi-task and handle a fast-paced work environment.
