Job Summary The Diosa Den is a modern, wellness-focused hair and beauty studio located in Amityville Village. We specialize in healthy hair, intentional color, scalp care and creating a relaxed, elevated experience for our clients. We're looking for a reliable, motivated, and personable full time salon assistant to become an important part of our growing team. What you'll do: Arrive before opening & set up for salon day Shampoo, condition and prep clients for services Assist stylists with color services and day to day bookings Maintain clean, organized stations and shampoo areas Handle towels, fold laundry, tools and general salon upkeep Update salon inventory Help create a warm, attentive client experience Support the flow of the salon and anticipate the needs of the team Participate in education and continued skill development Assist with salon content Who we're looking for: Someone who is reliable and punctual. When it comes to detail, we need someone who is proactive with the needs of the salon in mind. Professional- we are a small salon, energy and communication matter. Comfortable receiving feedback. This is a learning environment and we want someone who can take direction, ask questions and continue improving. Interested in the beauty industry. This is an ideal opportunity for a cosmetology student, recent graduate or newer stylist who wants hands-on experience and continued education. Previous salon experience is helpful but not required. Reliability, attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn are more important to us then having years of experience. Our goal is to find someone who wants to become a genuine part of The Diosa Den- not simply fill a shift.
