Advanced Dermatology, P.C. is seeking a Full-Time Cosmetic Appointment Scheduler to join our Call Center team in Commack. As a Cosmetic Appointment Scheduler , you will be the first point of contact for patients seeking both cosmetic and dermatology services. This role requires exceptional customer service, strong communication skills, and a passion for aesthetics. The ideal candidate will provide a white glove patient experience while assisting patients with scheduling cosmetic consultations, laser treatments, injectables, and dermatology appointments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Assist patients on the phone with appointments and inquiries related to both cosmetic and dermatology services. Exude confidence with a steady pace, caring manner, and professional tone, to deliver a white glove patient experience. Manage the cosmetic scheduling queue effectively to maintain low wait times. Review provider schedules and laser location calendars to ensure accurate appointment scheduling. Schedule cosmetic consultations and aesthetic procedures including laser treatments, injectables, fillers, and other cosmetic services. Capture payments for cosmetic consultations and accurately document transactions. Promote monthly cosmetic specials and office, events. Utilize active listening and questioning techniques to understand patient treatment goals. Collect and update patient demographics, insurance information, and account details as needed. Maintain cosmetic tracking systems for booked appointments and department performance. Collaborate with cosmetic providers, medical assistants, office staff, and leadership to ensure a seamless patient experience. Achieve call volume, average handle time, appointment conversion, and scheduling goals. Escalate complex patient concerns to Team Leaders and Supervisors as appropriate.
Requirements:
Requirements Education High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Experience Minimum one (1) year of scheduling, call center, patient coordinator, medical receptionist, or customer service experience. MedSpa, cosmetic dermatology, plastic surgery, aesthetic medicine, or beauty industry experience strongly preferred. Knowledge & Skills Knowledge of cosmetic procedures including laser treatments, Botox®, dermal fillers, injectables, body contouring, and other aesthetic services. Strong customer service and relationship-building skills. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills. Ability to educate patients on cosmetic services and promote treatment specials. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite; EMA PM and EMR experience preferred.
