Come grow with us! The Oklahoma Forensic Center (OFC) located in Vinita, OK is a 24 hour/365 day secure inpatient forensic facility that provides jail competency services for the State of Oklahoma. Currently, OFC has 268 beds for consumers who have been found incompetent for adjudication or adjudicated as Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity. About the
Position:
Here at the Oklahoma Forensic Center we are looking to hire a Personal Grooming Specialist who would be responsible for providing professional hair care services and other treatments to consumers in an inpatient care setting. Job duties would include, but not be limited to: Giving haircuts, shampoos or hair treatments Giving shaves, facials and skin care instruction Giving manicures and pedicures Sterilizing and sanitizing area and equipment

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Level II- Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of possession of a current Oklahoma Barber's License and 36 months of experience as a barber OR licensure by the Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology as a beautician and 36 months of experience as a beautician. Level I- Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of possession of a current Oklahoma Barber's License and six months of experience as a barber OR licensure by the Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology as a beautician and six months of experience as a beautician.
Special Requirements:
