The Spa Public Area Attendant plays an essential behind-the-scenes role in creating a welcoming and relaxing environment for every guest. Like a well-prepared venue before a performance, this position ensures all spa public areas, guest spaces, and facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation. The impact you'll make… The Spa Public Area Attendant will keep all spa public areas and facilities (such as lobby restrooms, telephone area, the front desk, and offices) in a neat and clean condition. A Spa Public Area Attendant promotes a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly, and should also be able to address guest requests and problems. What you'll be doing… Clean rooms, hallways and restrooms. Clean and maintain restaurants and banquet halls. Sweep and vacuum carpets. Remove trash and empty ashtrays and urns. Dust and polish metal work, furniture, fixtures, and elevators. Keep the front of the hotel free from trash. Clean rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner, broom and shampoo machine. Wash walls and ceilings, move and arrange furniture, and turn mattresses. Sweep, mop, scrub, wax, and polish floors. Collect solid linen supplies in floor linen closets. Maintain housekeeping closets. Responsible for upkeep of all the equipment used (i.e., Vacuum cleaner, trolleys, Scrubbing machine.) Responsible for maintaining a time schedule for cleaning of their areas. Responsible for spring cleaning of their area as per the schedule given to them. Ensure compliance with all spa, hotel, and health and safety standards. Authorized to enter into offices for maintenance or other activities like pest control, shampooing of carpet etc. Other duties as assigned.
