Scheduled days would be Tuesday-Friday Duties Support front desk operations by scheduling appointments using salon software such as Meevo, managing walk-ins, and processing retail sales Assist stylists throughout the day with any needs they may have, especially mixing color, blow-drying, holding/pulling foils, washing, and glazes. Help to maintain a clean and organized workspace by taking care of any bowls left in sink, sweeping, clearing clutter on color bar, and wiping down backbar products. This also includes any common areas in the salon. Always clean tools with proper techniques and dry then store them in the correct areas. Provide attentive care to all guests with consistent professionalism. Always greet any clients with a smile even if you are not directly interacting with them. Ensure from start to end their experience is luxurious. Stock high turnover supplies (capes, aprons, towels, bowls, etc.) throughout the day to ensure smooth work flow for the whole team. Communicate with stylists if we are running low on any items. Always take advantage of being able to shadow stylists and learn new techniques as well as perfecting your own for consistent, top-tier execution of services. Advertise yourself and the salon to grow your clientele and build a reliable foundation for your career. Constantly be keeping up with new trends and techniques. Actively pursue education via stylists in the salon as well as classes or tutorials. Requirements Arrive 10 minutes before scheduled time. When you arrive you will be dressed professionally with hair and makeup already done. Complete all duties and check in with stylists and front desk before leaving at the end of your scheduled shift. Uphold core values of the salon at all times. Keep all conversations at work professional. This is with both clients as well as fellow team members. Passion for hair styling, barbering, and beauty services with a desire to learn advanced techniques like hair extensions or color theory Strong communication skills to connect confidently with clients and team members Ability to maintain high standards of sanitation and safety protocols within the salon environment Cosmetology license required.
