Job Description

Position Summary The Hair Assistant responsibilities include performing shampoo and conditioning treatments, sanitizing, maintaining cleanliness of salon areas and equipment, laundry, and providing a comfortable experience for clients. Job Duties and Responsibilities Shampooing and conditioning clients Blow-drying clients (when necessary) Sweeping salon floor and light cleaning to maintain salon's appearance Helping prepare guests for service Ensuring guests are comfortable, offering beverages, etc Attends and participates in continuing education and training in order to follow new trends and techniques Preferred Qualifications Cosmetology License Customer Service Skills Pay This is an hourly position with wages starting at $15.00 and pays up to $18.75, based on experience and qualifications.
