Our goal is to help train you with color and advanced cutting tohelp you gain the skills you will need to be a full time stylist with us. You will be hourly and when not with a client would be helping with all operations of the salon, including shampooing, booking and keeping things tidy. Hours vary but are between 9am- 8pm Monday-Friday and some Saturdays Our ideal candidate for this position is someone who has worked in a salon before and is experienced in blow drying and shampooing clients. We will assist you in becoming a successful stylist and will hold educational classes for you.

Responsibilities:

Blow drys and child haircuts Answering the phone to book appointments, cash out clients after services are completed. Shampoo clients and apply toners. Sweep hair, take out trash and keep salon tidy Ensure day-to-day salon operations run smoothly Chat with customers, learn their preferences and build good relationships Monitor stock of beauty products Desired Skills Worked or has experience as a Hair Stylist Assistant / shampoo assistant Experience in customer service is a plus Up-to-date with hair trends Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage appointment books and schedule appointments is a plus

Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 35.0 per week
