BISHOPS is looking for an experienced stylist or barber who brings strong technical skills, great energy, and an interest in leadership. Our Assistant Manager is a working stylist/barber who supports the Shop Manager with day-to-day operations, team development, and creating a consistently great experience for clients. This is a manager-in-training role with an opportunity to build your leadership skills while continuing to grow your clientele and technical craft. What You'll Do Deliver exceptional short and long cuts, color, and other hair services Support the Shop Manager with day-to-day shop operations Coach, train, and support stylists and barbers Help maintain BISHOPS service and customer experience standards Lead by example in client service, professionalism, productivity, and sales Assist with inventory, ordering, and receiving products Communicate shop updates and expectations clearly to the team Help solve day-to-day challenges and keep the shop running smoothly Support a welcoming environment where both clients and team members can be themselves What You Bring Current cosmetology or barber license 3+ years of experience behind the chair preferred Experience in a fast-paced salon or barbershop Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience Strong cutting and color skills Confidence teaching and coaching technical skills Strong communication and people skills Ability to work effectively with a wide range of personalities and backgrounds Initiative, reliability, and strong follow-through Interest in growing into greater leadership responsibility Experience with Wella color and products is a plus Compensation 45% starting commission on production Paid non-production time is provided for Assistant Manager responsibilities and scheduled in coordination with the Shop Manager Opportunity for continued growth as responsibilities and leadership develop What We Offer Paid Time Off Paid education and training Employee discounts Work/life balance Leadership development and growth opportunities BISHOPS is accessible, on-trend, unpretentious, and built around celebrating individuality. Pay:

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
