Job Description
Lower Lights Theatre Company is seeking an Assistant Costumer for our production of The Wizard of Oz . This position needs to begin immediately and will work closely with our Head Costumer to begin developing and preparing costumes, including costumes needed for our publicity shoot in November . The Assistant Costumer will receive direction from the Head Costumer and assist with bringing her designs to life. We are looking for someone who can sew, construct and alter costumes, create costume pieces, and source materials . This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys both the creative and practical sides of costume work. Previous theatrical costume experience is preferred, but strong sewing and creative skills are the priority.
