JOB DESCRIPTION
Golf Shop Attendant
POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Responsible for assisting in all areas of merchandising while maintaining a satisfactory level of customer service to members and their guests. Also responsible for receiving merchandise. Responsible for assisting in buying and processing of buying related paperwork. Supervising of merchandise coordinators and stock coordinator in the absence of the Director of Golf.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in buying of soft goods for retail sales for the pro shop.
  • Processing all inventory related purchase orders for the Director of Golf.
  • Supervising merchandise coordinators and stock coordinator in the absence of the Director of Golf.
  • Maintain a buying plan and open-to-buy for all soft goods in retail sales.
  • Maintain par stock inventory levels for retail shops.
  • Responsible for whatever special projects are deemed necessary by upper management.
  • Assist in buying for tournaments
  • Responsible for ordering uniforms for all departments.
  • Receive all merchandise.
  • Process all inter-departmental transfers.
  • Process all employee uniform requisitions and purchases.
  • Responsible for all special orders. Perform special projects as deemed necessary by management. Build and maintain a member profile notebook.
  • Must demonstrate a positive attitude at all times
  • Must provide outstanding customer service to all internal and external customers Working Conditions
  • Must be able to bend and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to work Holidays and weekends.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • High School Education preferred
  • Experience with retail and merchandising management
