Position Overview:
The Inside Sales Associate will serve as the operational engine of our sales office. You will act as the vital link between our customers (wholesale distributors, mechanical contractors, and regional sales representatives), our engineering team, and our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the rapid turnaround of technical quotes, end-to-end sales order management in QuickBooks , and delivering world-class bilingual customer support to drive client retention and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Quoting & Technical Sales Support:
Receive, interpret, and process pricing requests and technical submittals from clients, ensuring accurate selection of air distribution products (grilles, diffusers, access doors, and louvers).
QuickBooks Order Management:
Process sales orders, generate invoices, issue credit memos, maintain clean client accounts, and assist with basic accounts receivable tracking.
Bilingual Customer Service:
Provide exceptional first-level support via phone, email, and in-person visits, ensuring clear and professional communication in both English and Spanish.
Supply Chain Coordination:
Partner closely with our Miami warehouse team to verify stock availability, prioritize urgent shipments, and track delivery statuses to guarantee on-time fulfillment.
Sales Reporting & Data Analysis:
Utilize Microsoft Office 365 (specifically advanced Excel functions like VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and margin formulas) to manage price sheets, analyze sales trends, and prepare monthly performance reports.
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
Experience in inside sales, customer service, or commercial support roles within industrial distribution , with a strong preference for the HVAC/R or commercial construction sectors.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, International Business, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
Bilingual Proficiency:
100% fluent bilingual (English & Spanish) with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages. This is mandatory for interacting with local South Florida contractors as well as national corporate accounts.
Software Expertise:
Strong, verifiable proficiency in QuickBooks (sales modules, invoicing, and customer databases). Advanced mastery of Microsoft Office 365 (specifically Excel formatting, formulas, and data analysis).
