A Costume or Wardrobe Attendant assists with costumes used in musical or theatre performances. Assists with fitting costumes, and assists performers with costume changes during a show. Maintains costume collections for a theatre or show.
Develop, organize, and implement promotional events at RCGR designed to increase guest traffic and increase revenue to RCGR. Manage the operations of the Gift Shop and the Boutique at RCGR to provide profitable and value-add amenities to RCGR.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for implementing operating and scheduling procedures. Responsible for hiring, training and maintaining an effective sales staff in the Gift Shop and Boutique Responsible for purchasing of inventory, tracking purchase orders and ensuring vendors receive payments Responsible for stocking, displaying and rotating inventory Responsible for receiving merchandise and ensuring match to the original purchase order Responsible for maintaining employee cash drawer counts Reports any variances to the Director of Hotel Maintains entertainment ticket supply and sales. Authorizes overrides for comps and/or redemptions per company policies. Assist in the coordination of promotions, contests and giveaways related for assigned retail area. Resolves customer complaints and questions regarding any discrepancy concerning assigned area. Creates displays and promotes inventory. Point of reference for information on casino events, entertainment and time schedules for other outlets. Advertises and understands the nature of gaming as it relates to the purchase of Retail items. Ensures the Retail Guest Service Agents are adhering to all company rules and regulations, including but not limited to confidentiality of customer files and habits, proper distribution of promotional material and entries, proper handling of files and data. Responsible for the evaluation of employee performance Provides monthly reports on Sales, Open to buy and other need reports. Is responsible for all Iowa Consignment responsibilities - including contract details, scheduling, appearances, payment reports and any follow through Attends trade shows as necessary Attends weekly Hotel meetings. Ensures proper department uniform, appearance and grooming standards are followed. Attends all company required training. Complies with all Iowa Racing & Gaming Commission Rules and Regulations and any other local, state, or federal guidelines. Adheres to all safety guidelines. Meets company attendance requirements. May be required to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Required:
Must have a clear understanding of the casino business, special events, and marketing promotions affecting the outlet. Ability to use phone, Micros system, cash register, and credit card transactions. Ability to perform basic mathematical functions and accurately count money. Has the resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions and the ability to work effectively and courteously with fellow employees. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality including, but not limited to, employee data, player activity, claim activity, financial data, marketing plans, and policies. Ability to effectively utilize conflict-resolution techniques. Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and results. Ability to solve complex problems and maintain mental concentration for significant periods of time. Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures and in an interruptive environment. Ability to use telephone, copy/fax machine, computer, Microsoft Office, hand-held radio, and any department-specific equipment, tools, and computer software. Ability to perform a broad variety of tasks and deadlines with an irregular work schedule. Ability to communicate effectively with guests and all levels of employees in both oral and written form. Ability to work in casino and office environment with excessive noise levels, bright lights, and smoke environment. Knowledge of all facilities and promotional events available to guests on property. 2-5 years of retail experience in a supervisory position or higher is required
