Position Title:
Costume and Wardrobe AssistantPOSITION SUMMARY
- This position is ideal for students passionate about fashion, design, or theatrical arts, providing real-world experience in costume design and management.
FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION
- Help design, create, and alter costumes for various productions.
- Manage the organization and maintenance of the costume inventory and create a photo map and directory to help casts replace costumes in storage in the correct places.
- Assist actors with quick changes and costume fittings during performances.
- Work closely with the costume designer to bring creative visions to life.
- Ensure all costumes are cleaned and stored properly after shows.
REQUIRED
Hard /Specialized Skills:
- Basic Sewing Skills
- Basic Knowledge of Garment Construction
- Costume Maintenance (cleaning, steaming, organizing)
