At Paws Into Grace, we provide compassionate, dignified end-of-life care for beloved pets and their families. Our team walks alongside grieving pet parents with empathy, professionalism, and unwavering care. As an Aftercare Technician, you'll play a vital role in honoring pets' lives through respectful handling, precise cremation processes, and meaningful memorial items. What We're Looking For We're seeking someone who is: Compassionate and empathetic by nature Detail-oriented , organized, and committed to excellence Comfortable with physical work , including lifting and repetitive motion Self-motivated , yet thrives in a collaborative team environment Calm under pressure and able to problem-solve quickly Adaptable in a fast-paced, emotionally sensitive environment Key Responsibilities Provide professional and compassionate care to pet parents and veterinary partners Gently and respectfully handle deceased pets , always honoring the human-animal bond Lift up to 75 lbs unassisted (and up to 100 lbs with help) Operate alkaline hydrolysis equipment and manage all aspects of the cremation process Craft thoughtful clay/ink paw prints, nose prints, and fur keepsakes Accurately track each pet's journey using our Cremation Tracking Software Package and prepare cremains and memorial items with precision and respect Maintain cleanliness and functionality of all equipment, including the hydrolysis system Restock urn inventory and supplies; write handwritten sympathy cards Uphold our standards of gentle care and emotional presence for all families we serveRequirements Physical:
Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 lbs repeatedly (100 lbs with assistance) Stand and walk for more than 50% of an 8-hour shift Perform regular bending, lifting, and reachingEnvironmental:
